ESSANSOR welcomes submissions and pitches for The Online Edition and, selectively, for The Print Edition. We are continuously looking for contributors whose work is built on restraint, atmosphere and craft — photographers, stylists, art directors, architects, illustrators and writers alike. Whether you are an established name or an emerging talent, if your work resonates with our sensibility, we would be glad to see it,
Our editorial territory is human experience through space, materiality and design: architecture and interiors, design and objects, travel and place, style, and the people who shape contemporary culture. We favour quiet, considered work over trend-led content.
Photography and editorials.
Send a broad, well-edited selection of images together with a complete credit list for all clothing, accessories, furniture, objects and locations. Include the full team with clickable links to their portfolios.
Concept and visual pitches.
Present a mood board and a short written rationale that articulates the idea, the location and the intended mood, along with your proposed team and talent — with links.
Writing.
Share two or three published or unpublished samples, ideally interviews or long-form features, and outline three story ideas in no more than a few sentences each. We are particularly interested in interviews with architects, designers, hoteliers, chefs and makers.
We are currently open to pitches for online exclusives and for the Spring Summer 2027 print edition.
